When real estate sales are up give back

Real estate agents giving back to the community

Because of real estate’s flexibility and real estate’s good income, successful realtors can donate time and money to worthwhile causes.

Alzheimer’s is one of those causes. I became aware of the devastating toll this disease causes to families when my husband’s mother was diagnosed with the disease. Not only is it heartbreaking to see a person you love crumble before you, but it cannot be prevented, cured or slowed. To understand why I walk go to this important video

Real estate can be intense and take one’s focus so acutely that we lose track of what is truly important in life.

Giving back gives real estate agents more clarity and perspective. Plus, it feels great! Already I have raised over three thousand dollars! Yeah! Please join myself and Hill & Co. Real Estate to walk Saturday September 19th in the San Francisco Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Simply click on this link to join the real estate walk or donate: http://act.alz.org/site/TR/Walk/General?pg=entry&fr_id=7348

It takes place at the Great Meadow at the Marina Green in San Francisco with Registration at 8:30-9 am for the 3 Mile Walk which starts at 10am. There will be a fun rally beforehand (I have been to several of these walks) with music, food and merchant booths. It will be a guaranteed fun time for a worthwhile cause.

The real estate community is realizing Alzheimer’s is an important health issue which needs to be addressed.
